Description

Delusion of Sea has been influenced by the concept of Abstract Expressionism. My intention was to capture the cruelty of the sea with both strong, gesticulating motion brush strokes to indicate the volume of the waves and splashes of colour to denote the ripple effect of the water. In addition, the composition makes critical use of the bold horizon line to create energetic tension and expressive continuity.
