Description

The Eternal Evidence represents an extremely challenging period in my life. I believe that most people can relate to feelings of entrapment or being in a “gilded cage” of sorts where everything looks beautiful and opulent but in fact is simply a sea of danger and a forum for abuse behind the scenes. The barbed wire superimposed across the scene of inner turmoil, despair and desire to escape is purposefully gold. This is because victims of abuse tend to relate to their abusers and believe they are their friends when in fact they are not. In this piece, reality and the dreams and nightmares that surround us converge but of course the rose (the woman who was always born to be free) will emerge victorious.
